NBC Spiked Bombshell Story on Weinstein Harassment, Rape

Until now we’ve been sitting back on the Weinstein scandal not wanting to get mired in the tabloid nature of the story.

But certain elements of the latest revelations finally warrant comment.

According to reports, allegations of harassment and rape by Harvey Weinstein were the subject of a proposed story by Ronan Farrow earlier this year. But NBC decided to spike it.

In fact, these allegations go back a decade or more with numerous leftist media outlets turning it down.

And before the New Yorker finally spilled the ink, there were no signs of comeuppance for the Hollywood sleaze.

That he was able to perpetuate such a highly coordinated campaign of abuse right under the nose of industry poobahs demonstrates both the double-standard and hypocrisy of the big-media left.

Donald Trump was dragged through the mud over his stupid locker room comments, but Harvey Weinstein was given a pass for years on his actual criminal behavior.

It’s interesting how in the world of the pro-woman left, no one wants to admit what everyone knows until finally one of them gives permission.

Then suddenly everyone is a truth-teller. Sickening.

Here’s more from Breitbart…

NBC News passed on a story by contributor Ronan Farrow that it allegedly possessed in August about three separate rape allegations against Harvey Weinstein that eventually appeared in the New Yorker Tuesday, according to a report.

According to the Huffington Post, Farrow’s bombshell Tuesday report — in which three women, including actress Asia Argento, accused the movie mogul of rape — “was in NBC’s hands as recently as August, according to multiple sources both inside and outside the network.”

The Huffington Post reported:

By then, Farrow, an NBC contributor and investigative reporter, had already obtained damning audio of an encounter Weinstein had with a woman, in which Weinstein admits to having groped her… Instead, Farrow’s story — and the audio, from a 2015 New York Police Department sting — appeared Tuesday on the website of The New Yorker.

According to the outlet, NBC had “concerns” with the way Farrow’s story was sourced.

The New Yorker report contained a two-minute audio clip reportedly taken from a 2015 NYPD sting against Weinstein, in which the producer is heard begging a model to enter his hotel room, and appearing to admit to groping women in the past.

After the allegations against Weinstein were made public, Democratic Party politicians, as well as the Democratic National Committee (DNC), have pledged to give away Weinstein’s contributions to charity.

In a statement, the DNC claimed they would give away just $30,000 to left-wing organizations, despite the fact that Weinstein donated nearly $250,000 to the organization since the 1990s.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton issued a statement Tuesday on the allegations against Weinstein, five days after the New York Times first published the story about decades of sexual harassment allegations against him. Weinstein hosted a $33,000-per-plate fundraiser for Clinton at his Manhattan home last year, though it was not immediately clear if the former candidate would return or donate any of the money, as other Democratic politicians have done.

“I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein,” Clinton said in a statement issued through her spokesman, Nick Merrill. “The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated. Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior.”

A number of celebrities also spoke out Tuesday about the allegations against Weinstein, including Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck.

In another bombshell report from the New York Times published Tuesday, actresses Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Rosanna Arquette, among others, disclosed their own encounters with Weinstein during the early part of their careers.

New Bombshell Video: NYT Editor Admits Targeting Trump

Project Veritas recently promised another series of very revealing videos that will bring the mainstream liberal media to its knees.

And today’s release looks to be the beginning.

The hidden camera caught New York Times video editor Nicholas Dudich admitting that he’s on-staff with the paper specifically to not be objective.

Rather his job is to make certain videos disparaging President Trump make it ‘to the front’.

He then went on to detail how he’d go about bringing down the Trump presidency.

If this is just the tip of the iceberg, we’re in for an interesting ride.

Here’s more from Washington Examiner…

An editor with the New York Times’ online video team was caught disparaging President Trump and his family in a video sting by conservative activist James O’Keefe.

In a video published Tuesday online by O’Keefe, Nicholas Dudich, identified as the Times’ audience strategy editor, is seen explaining his role at the news organization and apparently revealing his personal biases against Trump.

“I’d target his businesses, his dumb fuck of a son, Donald Jr., and Eric [Trump],” Dudich says in the edited version of the video. “So they’re running Trump, like, the Trump business. Target that. Get people to boycott going to his hotels. So, a lot of the Trump brands, if you can ruin the Trump brand and you put pressure on his business and you start investigating his business and you shut it down. … He cares about his business more than he cares about being president.”

CBS Exec Not Sympathetic to Vegas Victims, ‘They’re Repubs’

CBS promptly fired company executive Hayley Geftman-Gold today as soon as she was exposed for writing on her Facebook wall, “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”

Good for them; of course they should have fired her.

But it’s a quick public relations fix in hopes it will prevent the more obvious question: how does a person who harbors such sickening vitriol for fellow human beings get hired for ANY company, let alone a media company that prides itself for sensitivity and political correctness?

It’s just one more example in a long line of hypocritical abuses of the public’s trust in the media.

The bias is real, and anyone who denies it is engaged in a sort of self-delusion that’s not a lot different than the sort members of Hitler’s SS employed to justify their atrocities.

Here’s more from BizPacReview…

A top legal executive at CBS, Hayley Geftman-Gold, said she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the shooting at a country music festival at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Sunday night.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” wrote Geftman-Gold on Facebook, perhaps referring to Sandy Hook. “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”

Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nev. opened fire on a crowd of 22,000 country music concert goers from the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas late Sunday night. More than 50 people are dead, and more than 400 others were left injured after the shooting spree finally ended when the shooter turned the gun on himself.

Shock Poll: NFL Favorability Cut in Half Since Trump Showdown

We’ve been arguing that Donald Trump’s calculated fight with the NFL over the national anthem is a brilliant strategy in which it’s a no-lose scenario for him.

He’s been holding a royal flush and knows the NFL is attempting to bluff their way out of a really bad hand.

And now a new poll is forcing them to fold.

According to Politico’s latest numbers, favorability of the NFL among Americans — which was already at a low — fell from 30% to 17% in a single week.

And that death-spiral coincides with the blow-up over Trump’s spotlight on anthem-kneelers.

What’s worse is only 35% believe the NFL has a positive impact on the community.

Folks, that’s what we call a public relations crisis.

And it might explain why the NFL had an emergency meeting with owners and coaches this week.

Here’s from Breitbart…

In news that will shock only those who have spent the last week living in caves, the NFL’s favorability has taken a massive nosedive this week.
The POLITICO/Morning Consult poll released this week shows that the league’s favorability has fallen from 30 percent on September 21 to a low of 17 percent only a week later.

The poll takers said that this month’s numbers are the lowest favorability ratings the poll has ever measured since it first began polling on the question.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Trump voters expressed an even harsher view. On September 21, 25 percent of Trump voters approved of the NFL, and 11 percent had an unfavorable view. But by September 28, those numbers changed dramatically with 33 percent saying they now have an unfavorable view of the NFL while only 16 percent said they felt positively toward the league.

The drop of 13 points in a single week coincides with the mass protests seen across the league during Week 3 of the NFL season.

The drop also coincides with criticism of the league offered by President Trump who said on September 22 that he hoped NFL owners would fire players who stage protests during the playing of the national anthem.

The poll also found that only 35% of respondents believe the league has a positive impact in the community. That is a 10% drop since September 13. Clearly, the protests are overshadowing all the charity efforts sponsored by the league, the teams, and individual players.

Laura Ingraham Takes the Stage at FNC, Hannity vs. Maddow

Rumors from Fox News insiders are reporting that the struggling former cable news king has reached a deal with Laura Ingraham for a show at the 10pm slot.

Ingraham has been a frequent contributor both on Bill O’Reilly’s show and as a guest of Sean Hannity.

The move reportedly puts Hannity in a 9pm slot to go head to head with MSNBC’s liberal queen Rachel Maddow. Maddow has exploded in viewership after O’Reilly’s ouster from FNC.

This development puts cold water on the speculation that the Murdochs are looking to remake the network as something other than a conservative alternative to MSNBC.

Ingraham has been an outspoken supporter of President Trump and of the populist revolution that pushed him to victory last November.

Her show will no doubt shake things up in the cable news world.

Here’s more from CNN…

Laura Ingraham, the radio host and Fox News commentator, is about to become a prime time host on the conservative cable network.

Ingraham is expected to take over the 10 p.m. hour on Fox News, according to people who spoke on condition of anonymity.

While there may be one or two final details to negotiate, Ingraham has been telling friends that the deal is essentially done, the sources said.

Her new show will be part of a broader change to the network’s top-rated prime time lineup. Sean Hannity’s show, currently at 10 p.m., will move one hour earlier to 9 p.m., multiple sources confirmed.

And “The Five,” a talk show originally named for its 5 p.m. time slot, will shift from 9 p.m. back to its namesake hour.

The changes come on the heels of Eric Bolling’s exit from Fox and the cancellation of his 5 p.m. show “Fox News Specialists” last Friday.

Fox is temporarily replacing the “Specialists” with news programming. But “The Five” will move back to 5 p.m. in the coming weeks, the sources said.

The launch date for Ingraham’s new show is unknown. But the sources said the new schedule is confirmed and known among senior staffers. This is a change from last month, when the talks between Ingraham and Fox were first reported.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson Attempts to Exploit Hurricane for Global Warming

For those of you not already in the know, Neil DeGrasse Tyson is the Al Sharpton of ‘science’.

And, like his econut pal Bill Nye, the alleged science guy, he uses his degree in astrophysics as an excuse to masquerade as an expert in every other field of science known to man.

To wit, he took the occasion this week to comment via Twitter on the landfall of Harvey in Texas peddling his pro-global warming agenda.

And it was a major facepalm fail wherein he confused once again the fields of meteorology and climatology.

He tweeted, “Don’t see much denial of @NOAA climate scientists who have predicted Hurricane Harvey’s devastating path into Texas.”

The problem specifically is that the path wasn’t predicted by climate scientists because they don’t do that…meteorologists do.

Thanks for playing, Neil.

Here’s more from Redstate…

The unspoken creed of the climate change religion is never let a severe weather event go to waste. (Oddly, they often argue that weather and climate are different things when current conditions don’t suggest an emergency.) Naturally, pompous astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson is using a serious, life threatening storm as an opportunity to make smug, yet woefully unscientific, observations.

Hmm. Joe Science doesn’t seem to know that climate science and meteorology aren’t even the same discipline.

Tyson even got busted by an actual climate scientist.

Even with impending weather events, meteorology isn’t an exact science. When meteorologists predict the paths of hurricanes they almost always indicate that the range of probabilities becomes greater the farther into the future they look. Also, sometimes storms don’t do what they’re “supposed to.”  To use this process to ridicule anyone’s “denial” that Tyson or anyone else can predict what the climate is going to be like in 100 years is asinine.

NY Times: Trump ‘Preached Unapologetic Division’ in Phoenix

Just as we expected, the leftist press took quick occasion to rally the mainstream media troops behind the narrative that President Trump’s rally in Phoenix yesterday was a double-down on his ‘racist’ inclination.

During his speech he defended his comments on Charlottesville and hinted further to a pending presidential pardon for Sheriff Joe.

That sent liberal talking heads and columnists through the roof in which they responded — NY Times first out of the gate — with charges that he’s inciting racism and starting ‘another civil war.’

It’s clearly more of the same for the media’s love affair with hating Trump in which no good deed goes unpunished.

Meanwhile, Antifa’s masquerading around the country as the paragon of peace through violence goes unheeded in the press.

Here’s more from Washington Examiner…

A news article in the New York Times accused President Trump of encouraging “unapologetic division” at his campaign-style rally in Phoenix.

“It was the latest shift in what has become a nearly daily change of roles for this president,” the Times article read, “from the statesmanlike commander in chief who sought harmony on Monday evening by citing the example of America’s soldiers to the political warrior who, just a day later, preached unapologetic division to his supporters here [in Phoenix], eliciting louder cheers with every epithet.”

At the rally Tuesday night, Trump referred to the national press as “sick people” creating “division,” and adding, “I really think they don’t like our country. I really believe that.”

Trump berated the media for, he said, failing to offer him any credit when he denounced bigotry and white supremacists following the violence in Charlottesville, Va.

“The only people giving a platform to these hate groups is the media itself and the fake news,” Trump said.

The Eclipse You Missed: the Media and the DNC Scandal

So yesterday’s galactic event has come and gone, but there’s another eclipse nearly everyone is missing.

That’s the eclipse by the liberal news media of the biggest scandal so far in Trump era: the Pakistan-gate concerning the DNC’s arrested and now indicted former IT contractor Imran Awan.

The probe into the scandal continues to widen as reports have surfaced that Awan and his crime family may likely have been peddling sensitive intel overseas along with running a money laundering scheme.

Though he was arrested while trying to skip town, his wife and family were able to escape to Pakistan with hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars.

The scandal is ‘massive’ and getting bigger. But we’ve not heard a peep out of CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, NY Times, or WashPo.

Had the RNC been guilty of such an affair, the media would already have spun it as another Trump conspiracy to scam the election.

Here’s more from Redstate…

And it just keeps getting weirder, folks.

The New York Post reported Saturday that former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s IT staffer — the one recently indicted after his arrest at a DC-area airport as he attempted to flee the country back to Pakistan — may have been involved in the sale of sensitive data to Pakistan and even Russia.

Federal authorities are investigating whether sensitive data was stolen from congressional offices by several Pakistani-American tech staffers and sold to Pakistani or Russian intelligence, knowledgeable sources say.

What started out 16 months ago as a scandal involving the alleged theft of computer equipment from Congress has turned into a national security investigation involving FBI surveillance of the suspects.

Investigators now suspect that sensitive US government data — possibly including classified information — could have been compromised and may have been sold to hostile foreign governments that could use it to blackmail members of Congress or even put their lives at risk.

“This is a massive, massive scandal,” a senior US official familiar with the widening probe told The Post.

Basically, back in April 2016, network security officials working with the House of Representatives were alerted to a possible procurement scam involving hundreds of thousands of dollars that was supposed to be used to buy computer equipment. That led to an internal investigation and an eventual Capitol Police probe. Imran Awan, his two brothers, his wife and a family friend (some of whom had little IT experience and ended up making as much as a House Chief of Staff) were fingered in the probe and fired in February of this year.

However, before their firing and banishment from the networks on the Hill, Imran defrauded the federal credit union to the tune of close to $300,000, which he then wired to Pakistan as his wife fled to that country with their children. And Wasserman Schultz kept him on payroll until his arrest last month.

Now it looks as though the Awan crime family were routing sensitive information — emails, research, communiques between high ranking members of possibly the Intel and Foreign Relations Committees — to an offsite server, and may have been selling the information to hostile foreign entities.

Luke Rosiak at The Daily Caller, who has been on this story from jump and helped keep it alive enough to get it the attention it’s now receiving, is also reporting that at least one House side Dem office that employed the grifters promptly looked the other way and wrote off their $120K procurement theft as a loss.

Fake News: CNN Blatantly Covers Up ‘Antifa’ Violence

We’re shocked–SHOCKED–to learn that CNN’s editors have approved a scrubbing of a recent headline to remove any reference to violence by Antifa.

In their efforts to brand the recent upheaval after Charlottesville as entirely the fault of the Alt-right and white supremacists, CNN edited out a reference to ‘Peace Through Violence’ after Antifa officials objected.

So let’s get this straight.

Leftist nut jobs at the center of the anti-fascist movement argue that violence is justified so long as it’s a reaction against ‘fascism’ — however loosely they define the term, which includes speech deemed ‘micro-aggression’ — but if you point out their argument in favor of violence, that’s not fair.

Got that?

Okay, moving right along. Nothing to see here.

Here’s more from Redstate…

The left has developed an entire public relations campaign in the last week to convince everyone that the lackwit anarcho-marxists of the ‘antifa’ (correctly pronounce an-TEE-fa, I’m told) movement is actually not violent. Put aside the documented fact that every single time this bunch appears violence takes place. Not only are they violent, they are now operating with the full sanction of the mainstream media. A typical apologia was dissected by my colleague Jim Jamitis yesterday. You get guys like Chuck Todd giving the ‘antifa’ and their cheerleaders unfettered access to the airwaves and not challenging them in any way.

As Ben Domenech wrote in The Federalist:

The list of protests which turned violent – which, when I shared it, triggered numerous accusations that I was defending Nazis, a white supremacist, and caused a reporter for one magazine where I used to be a columnist to describe me as “alt-right” – includes: Oakland 2009, Akron 2009, Pittsburgh 2009, Santa Cruz 2010, Oakland 2010, Los Angeles 2010, Oakland 2011, Chicago 2012, Anaheim 2012, Brooklyn 2013, Ferguson 2014, New York City 2014, Baltimore 2015, Anaheim 2016, Chicago 2016, St Paul 2016, Milwaukee 2016, Charlotte 2016, Standing Rock 2016, Oakland 2016, Portland 2016, Washington DC 2017, Berkeley 2017, Anaheim 2017, Berkeley (again) 2017, Berkeley (again again) 2017, Olympia 2017, and Portland 2017. This is a list of overwhelmingly leftist protests. But those have a different standard in the press.

Protest and assembly are the rights of all. Violent extremism is the enemy of all. There is no “winning” in such a clash, only loss. Their enemy is civilized society and the public square. But apparently listing such protests is all it takes to be considered an anti-Semite Nazi shill. Facts are not what people want at a time like this. They would prefer fiction.

To get a flavor for just how much the media is pulling out the stops to mainstream and normalize political violence from the left is this from CNN:

But even at its worst, no one on the right has ever claimed to achieve peace through violence, particularly when the natural state was peace before the ‘antifa’ nitwits arrived.

Now the headline reads like this:

Bill Maher on Charlottesville: Fox News ‘Reanimated’ the Nazis

Uber-liberal Bill Maher is at it again with his galactically absurd arguments.

Via his post at HBO’s ‘Real Time’, Maher argued that the riot and ultimate carnage in Charlottesville at the behest of white supremacists was the fault of Fox News.

According to Maher’s altered state of consciousness, executives at FNC are the “‘Jurassic Park’ that took the DNA of the Nazis and reanimated it.”

Two obvious rejoinders are in order.

First, neo-Nazi true believers have been around and growing in strength long before and completely independent of Fox News.

Second, Maher ignores the fact that he and his ilk in the rabid liberal media have re-energized the loony, violence-prone left who are now publicly arguing that violence is justified when their feelings are hurt.

It takes two to tango, Bill.

Both extremes of the political spectrum are unhinged, whether in Charlottesville or Berkeley.

Here’s more from Washington Examiner…

“Real Time” host Bill Maher criticized Fox News on Friday while discussing the violent rally in Charlottesville, Va. saying that the news network was partly to blame for the attacks because they “reanimated” Nazis.

“They are the ‘Jurassic Park’ that took the DNA of the Nazis and reanimated it,” Maher said during a panel discussion on his evening program on HBO. “I believe that without Fox News for years giving the kind of poison they give over their airwaves, putting it into people’s heads, and then the Internet, I think, which you know — people say they get radicalized on the Internet. Before, if you were a neo-Nazi, unless you found somebody in a coffee shop — now you can find someone on the internet. And then, the president gave permission to them.”

Maher also called out President Trump, saying he has been a racist his “whole life.”

The “Real Time” host then insinuated that Trump is a pawn for Fox News, pointing out that Trump used jargon during his impromptu press conference on Tuesday that came from the networks anchors.

“He watches Fox News all the time!” Maher exclaimed. “Over the last 20 years, I’ve encountered so many people, usually older people — older white men — who I thought were normal people, and they suddenly were saying things at Hollywood cocktail parties like “Obama purposely ruined America.’ Purposely!”
